Description
What it is
The SpeedCut® Pro is professional-grade sewer pipe cleaning equipment built for high-speed descaling in 2"–8" pipe. Where a traditional cable machine augers through a clog, this pipe cleaning machine spins a flexible shaft with a cutting or brushing head on the end — letting you fully descale cast iron, remove roots, strip out failed liners, reinstate lateral connections after lining, and clear standard stoppages, all with quick attachment changes. It's the machine you reach for after a plumbing camera shows the problem — and the one that fixes it.
What makes it different

SpeedConnector
Swap chain knockers, reinstatement heads, and epoxy brushes in seconds. Watch it snap into place — snap, lock, go.

Patented oiling injection
A patented oiling injection system makes oiling the SpeedShaft® hassle-free — inject the oil right through the machine, no need to pull it apart or remove the cable. Quick, clean upkeep between jobs.

Custom Flex Drum — no more recoiling
Our custom-designed Flex Drum lets you pull the cable out and push it back in freely by closing the opening on the opposite side from where the cable feeds. The cable stays put instead of becoming a nuisance — no stopping to hand-recoil it back into the drum.

Built like a tank
A powder-coated steel X-frame around an aluminum and stainless steel drum — a sturdy metal design made to survive the job site and keep running.

Clutch-less brushless motor
Fewer wearable parts, smooth 0–3,200 RPM control from the precision dial, and high torque on demand. No clutch to slip or replace.

Dial in the right speed
Normal descaler speed runs about 1,500 RPM; step up to SpeedCut speed at 2,500 RPM+ when the job calls for it. Smooth control the whole way.

No generator needed
Runs off a standard 15 A GFCI outlet, so you can work indoors or anywhere with power.

Serviceable by you
Many repairs are completed without specialist help, keeping the machine on the job instead of in a shop.
The SpeedShaft® Difference
Ask anyone who runs high-speed descaling equipment and they'll tell you the cable is what they worry about — it's the part that takes the punishment and, on most machines, the part that gives out first. That's exactly the problem we set out to solve. The SpeedShaft® is a custom, purpose-built high-speed descaling cable, engineered from the ground up to take the real-world abuse our customers put it through — job after job, year after year.

Fast, reliable tool changes
Swap chain knockers, brushes, and tools in seconds with the spring-loaded SpeedConnector. Preset your chain sizes on separate leaders and switch between them on the fly — fast, repeatable, and reliable, pass after pass.

Set screws don't wear out your cable
On a traditional flexible shaft, the set screw bites into the cable and wears a weak spot that eventually fails right where it's clamped. Not so with the SpeedShaft®. Run tools directly and the cable holds up — the set screws are a normal wear item you swap over time, but they don't chew up your SpeedShaft®. And because the leaders are made from the same cable as the base length, they take that same abuse without wearing down.

Anti-flip SpeedShaft® cable
The SpeedShaft® is a custom, purpose-built high-speed descaling cable. Its anti-flip design resists the torque-induced flipping and kinking that plague ordinary flex shafts, for cleaner, more controlled cutting.

More range, no give in strength
The SpeedShaft® works across a wide pipe range — 2" all the way to 8" on the Pro, and 2" to 6" on the Mini+, Mini+ Wheels, or off a drill with extensions — while staying strong the whole way. One versatile cable instead of swapping to a heavier setup for bigger lines.

Serviceable — in the field or by us
When a cable takes a beating, you're not stuck. Most SpeedShaft® repairs can be done right in the field to keep you working — and when you'd rather leave it to us, send it in and we'll take care of it. Either way, you're back on the job fast.

Built in the USA, built to last

What operators say
"I came to EPL Solutions with a tough descaling job — 4-inch vertical stacks in a 60-year-old high-rise with almost 3 inches of sludge coated inside the pipe. The big machine couldn't fit the restrooms and the small one wasn't enough, but the SpeedCut Pro was exactly right. I love the cable — it's very easy to use and there's barely any learning curve. If you can clear a line with a sewer machine, you can descale. The controls are easy, it's held up, and the support has been outstanding. Every time I had a problem they resolved it fast and even came out to the job site to train me."

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a generator?
No. The SpeedCut® Pro runs on a standard 15 A GFCI circuit / wall outlet.
What size pipe does it handle?
2" to 8" pipe. With the whip leader (sold separately) it also works on a 4" house trap.
How far can it reach?
75 ft on the standard SpeedShaft® cable, extendable up to 150 ft total with the optional 25 ft and 50 ft extension cables.
What is the Flex Drum?
It's our custom drum design. It lets you pull the cable out and push it back in freely by closing the opening on the opposite side from where the cable feeds — so the cable stays contained instead of springing loose. No stopping to hand-recoil the cable back into the drum.
Can it descale cast iron?
Yes — descaling cast iron is one of its core jobs, along with root removal and liner work.
How hard is it to maintain?
Simple. To lubricate the cable, you just inject oil through the built-in oiling port with the included syringe — no disassembly and no removing the cable. Many other repairs can also be done without a specialist.
How is it different from a standard drain snake?
A snake augers through a clog. As a high-speed sewer drain cleaner machine, the SpeedCut® Pro spins a shaft to fully clean and descale the pipe wall — restoring closer to full pipe diameter, not just punching a hole through the blockage.
Can one person run it?
Yes. It's built on a wheel-around cart with a handle and can be lifted by a single person. It operates via a detachable control box and foot pedal.
What's included?
The machine on its wheeled cart, 75 ft cable, control box, foot pedal, 110V power cord, accessory bag, Allen key set, and a cable-lubricating syringe.
What's the warranty?
1-year manufacturer's warranty.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — financing is available.
Do you ship, and what are lead times?
Yes. As long as we have the parts in stock, we normally ship the same day or the following day. Larger items that require freight shipping can take a little longer. Lead times are subject to change — give us a call for a current estimate.
